We're excited to announce our eighth #AdvantageActOfKindness, thanks to the thoughtful efforts of our employee, Luke! For his act of kindness, Luke gathered and donated items to the Miami County Animal Shelter, a place that holds special meaning to him. Having adopted a dog from this shelter when he was younger, Luke has a personal connection to their mission of helping animals find permanent, caring homes. Founded in 1971, the shelter has assisted thousands of animals and continues to serve the community as a no-kill shelter in Troy, Ohio. In addition to their adoption services, they offer free vaccines and training classes to Miami County citizens, helping families strengthen their bond with their pets and build lasting relationships. The shelter is also in the process of raising money to build a new facility to better serve the animals and the community. We are proud to support Luke's contribution to such a meaningful cause. We're pleased to announce our seventh #AdvantageActOfKindness, carried out by our compassionate employee, Preston! Preston took it upon himself to donate school supplies to Greeneview Elementary, a place close to his heart, as he attended there. With his thoughtful contribution, Preston was able to put together 10 complete school sets, including essentials like pencils, paper, folders, erasers, highlighters, glue sticks, water bottles, and even toothbrushes. Along with these complete kits, extra random supplies were also donated.

These supplies will be used to help students who cannot provide the items they need for school. At the start of the school year, a local church donated 20 bags, but they were quickly distributed, leaving a pressing need for more supplies. Preston’s donation will help relieve some of the burden from classroom teachers, ensuring that students have the resources they need to succeed.

We're pleased to announce our sixth #AdvantageActOfKindness, made possible by the compassion and hard work of our employee, Bill!

Bill had the pleasure of meeting Grover at the Rainbow Room. Teaming up with Grover, we've contributed to providing meals for the homeless every Friday from 12-1 PM, feeding about 120 people with no questions asked.

In addition to the meal service, Rainbow Room operates a thrift store offering donated clothing for just $1, with some individuals able to receive one or two outfits for free if needed. They also host a pantry food giveaway every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Thanks to Bill's dedication, our contribution was a small part of a larger effort, making a positive difference in our community.

Advantage Car & Credit is delighted to announce our fifth #AdvantageActOfKindness, performed by our employee John! John recently shared his kindness at the Donnellan Shelter in Xenia. Founded in 1990 by the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership, the Donnellan Shelter supports Greene County families in need of emergency housing. As a non-profit service, the shelter relies on various funding sources, including grants, donations from the United Way, the general public, and businesses like Advantage Car & Credit. Advantage Car & Credit is proud to share our fourth #AdvantageActOfKindness, carried out by our employee Matt! Matt recently spread kindness at the Sicsa Pet Adoption and Wellness Center in Dayton. With over 55,000 furry friends finding homes since 1974, Sicsa holds a special place in the hearts of animal lovers everywhere. Upon entering, Matt was warmly welcomed by the staff, who embraced his generosity with gratitude. He toured the center and met the adorable residents while capturing moments of pure joy and love, leaving his heart feeling full. We're pleased to announce our third #AdvantageActOfKindness, made possible by the compassion and hard work of our employee, Dylan! Partnering with Covunity Fridge and Grub Local, we've contributed to donating over 250 meals to those facing hardship in our community.

Thanks to Dylan's dedication, our contribution was a small part of a larger effort, where he raised a remarkable $2500 to support those in need. It's heartwarming to see individuals like Dylan stepping up to make a positive difference.

We're excited to announce our second #AdvantageActOfKindness, made possible by our employee, Josh B. This time, we had the pleasure of supporting the State champion Fairmont Firebird Athletics men’s bowling team. Coached by Josh's childhood friend Jeremy, these talented athletes have been tirelessly fundraising for their team essentials - from shirts to transportation, every bit counts!

Josh saw an opportunity to make a difference and eagerly stepped in to lend a helping hand. With a heart full of generosity, he's proud to support his friend and the team on their journey to success.

Advantage Car & Credit's Random Act of Kindness Initiative recently focused on supporting a local business owner, Marcus Mucheck, who owns The Dirty Gym in downtown Dayton. The gym offers a range of training programs, including Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, Combat Sports, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, Personal Training, and Online Coaching. However, the decision to choose The Dirty Gym was not solely based on its diverse programs but on the exceptional personal experiences provided by the owners and staff to every member. Marcus, the owner, is consistently available to offer advice, coaching, and genuine conversations, setting him apart from typical business owners. The initiative recognizes Marcus for not only running a high-quality gym but also for contributing to the much-needed services in the inner city Dayton community. Kudos to Marcus and The Dirty Gym!
